The Laugo Arms Alien
Creator Evolution Retro is a specialized variant of the Alien pistol that features a slide-mounted, reciprocating optic configuration. This modification allows the pistol to comply with shooting divisions in the USPSA and IPSC that prohibit frame-mounted optics.
The Retro evolution brings significant changes to the famous Alien platform, including:
Reciprocating Optics:
Unlike the standard Alien’s fixed, non-reciprocating top rail, the Retro kit puts the optic on the slide. This satisfies competition rules and lets tactical shooters rack the slide using the optic itself.
1911 Grip Angle:
Laugo shifted away from its original Glock-like grip angle in favor of a traditional 1911 angle, preferred by many competition shooters.
Modular Grips:
The grip panels and backstraps can be configured in a single screw for a custom, ergonomic fit.
Vented Top Rail:
